What is Sore Eyes or Conjunctivitis?


The common terms used to address for Conjunctivitis are often “sore eyes”. Conjunctivitis is the inflammation of the thin covering of the eyeball and inner eyelid. The inflammation is brought on by a viral, bacterial, or allergy infection. However, sore eyes are generally due to a viral infection.

It is extremely contagious and spreads easily by eye to hand to eye contact, a runny nose or cough, or when people come into contact with a contaminated surface or object. If severe enough or long lasting, it can eventually lead to corneal scarring that can cause glare and decreased vision.

Quick Relieve For Sore Eyes


The remedy is heat up a piece of ginger, slice it into pieces and place it on the forehead with secure of a handkerchief. Place it over night and this will help to relieve the sore eyes quickly.

Instructions:

  1. Heat up the Ginger to reduce the around 40% of the moisture in it. 
  2. Place it on a stove or near to a stove, be careful not to use big fire and do not burn it.
  3. It will take around 30 minutes to heat up and thereafter leave it for 10 minutes to cool it.
  4. Sliced it into thin slices and place it on handkerchief to wrap on the forehead.
  5. Leave it over night and throw away after using. 

You will feel better and relieve the pain in the eyes.
